Rogers is running a promotion where they are selecting 400 kids and will provide $150 towards their baseball registration, a swag bag of Rogers gear, and allow the selected to become a part of “Team Rogers” which will enable each participant a chance to have Q&A and training sessions with Bo Bichette, Randal Grichuk, Jimmy Van Ostrand and Scott Weberg (or another trainer). Each of the sessions are separate and dates are TBD. The promotion ends on August 10th.

2021 COVID-19 Safety Plan
ALL RULES WILL BE STRICTLEY ENFORCED. BVLL MEMBERS NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FACILITY. FAILURE TO LEAVE THE FACILITY OR MULTIPLE REQUESTS WILL RESULT IN THE FAMILY BEING SUSPENDED FROM FURTHER BVLL AND LL PLAY!

Each team will be supplied with sanitization supplies for the spring/summer season that will include, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes.

Each team will have a person responsible for sanitizing requirements during the season.

This person will require training provided by BVLL.

Bleach/water mixture or hand sanitizer that contains 80% alcohol content.

Equipment and balls must be sanitized before using at each practice or game.

Sanitize catchers gear between use. Please try to minimize use of catchers gear by not using multiple players on the same day. If necessary, during a game or practice be sure to sanitize gear before switching to the next player.

Sanitize balls after each practice and game with bleach/water solution. Have designated balls for each game and ensure you have enough balls to start the game. Each team will need approximately 3 balls. After each inning or if a ball has left the playing field, please ensure to sanitize.

Participants and spectators are to only show up 5 minutes before requested time (for example, if coach requests 5:15pm arrival to diamond, do not show up before 5:10pm).

Participants and players to leave area immediately following the finishing of the game or practice.

Catcher must remain 6’ from batter.

Shorten batter’s box by drawing a line 6’ from back of box. Catcher to remain behind.

Umpire to be 6’ from pitcher behind mound and will call all games from there.

Players to sanitize hands as much as possible (individual players are encouraged to bring their own sanitizer to keep in their ball bag). Ensure that the players and spectators wash their hands with soap upon arriving at home.

No players meetings after.

Each team to provide 1 spotter to pick up balls that go out of play.

Teams will provide new wrapped balls to sanitizer at the beginning of the game.

Spotters will return out of play balls to sanitizer before being put back into play.

All Spectators must maintain social distancing rules at ALL times.

All specific BVLL and LL sanitization rules must be adhered to at all times.

ABSOLUTELY NO sunflower seeds, chewing gum or spitting of any kind will be allowed.
DO NOT share water bottles or food with other players.
