U11-Minors
Little League Minors is a developmental program for players aged 9 to 10 years old who are ready to take their baseball skills to the next level. At Bow Valley Little League, the Minors division introduces more advanced gameplay while continuing to focus on skill development, teamwork, and fostering a love for the game.
Program Highlights
- Age Group: 9–10 years old
- Gameplay: Players transition to hitting off live pitching from other players, learning the fundamentals of pitching, fielding, and game strategy.
- Skill Development: Focus on improving key baseball skills such as pitching, catching, throwing, base running, and batting against live pitching.
- Team Play: Players begin to experience structured gameplay, learning positions, situational awareness, and teamwork.
- Fun & Growth: While the competition increases, the emphasis remains on building confidence, sportsmanship, and having fun.
Little League Minors is the perfect opportunity for young players to grow their skills, experience real-game situations, and prepare for more competitive levels of baseball.

-The program is twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays and runs for 8 weeks, starting the first week of May
-Minors is held at Elk run Diamonds typically from 6-715 pm with games running longer, often to 830
