We would like to acknowledge that Bow Valley Little League operates on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 Nations. This includes the Stoney Nakoda Nations of Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney, the Blackfoot Confederacy Nations of Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai, as well as the Tsuut’ina Nation. We also recognize the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, whose footsteps have marked this land for generations.

We honor and respect the histories, languages, and cultures of the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for this land long before the arrival of settlers and continue to do so today. As players, families, and community members, we commit to fostering relationships of understanding, respect, and reconciliation in everything we do on and off the field.
