U13 Majors Program
The Little League Majors division is the pinnacle of our core program, designed for players aged 11 to 12 years old. At Bow Valley Little League, Majors provides an exciting and competitive environment where players refine their skills and deepen their understanding of the game.
Program Highlights
- Age Group: 11–12 years old. Refer to the Little League Baseball Age Chart below to confirm your child’s division eligibility.
- Competitive Play: Players face live pitching and experience a more advanced level of baseball, with full-game rules in effect.
- Skill Refinement: Focus on developing advanced baseball skills, including:
- Pitching and catching
- Hitting and base running
- Defensive strategies and situational play
- Team Play & Strategy: Players learn:
- Positional responsibilities
- Game tactics and strategic awareness
- The importance of teamwork and communication
- Building Confidence: While competition intensifies, we continue to emphasize:
- Sportsmanship and fair play
- Teamwork and camaraderie
- Maintaining an enjoyable and rewarding experience
Program Details
- When: Twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays for 8 weeks, starting the first week of May until the end of June.
- Where:
- Practices and games are held at Elk Run Diamonds.
- Games may also take place at OLS (Our Lady of the Snows).
- Time:
- Practices run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
- Games run from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
- $210.00 per player
The Majors division is where players truly grow as athletes and teammates, building the skills, confidence, and experience they need to succeed on and off the field.
