U15- Junior
The Juniors Division is designed for players aged 13 to 14 years old who are ready to play on a full-sized baseball field and experience a higher level of competition. This division builds on skills developed in earlier levels while introducing the complete game of baseball.
Program Highlights
- Age Group: 13–14 years old. Refer to the Little League Baseball Age Chart below to confirm eligibility.
- Field Size: Players compete on a full-sized field with:
- 90-foot base paths
- 60 feet, 6 inches pitching distance
- Advanced Gameplay: Players experience full baseball rules, including:
- Leading off and pickoffs
- Advanced base running strategies
- Situational and tactical in-game play
- Skill Development: Focus on refining advanced baseball skills, such as:
- Pitching and hitting
- Defensive strategies and positional play
- Situational awareness and teamwork
- Competitive & Fun: Players enjoy a balance of:
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
- An engaging, competitive environment that builds confidence and skills
Program Details
- When: Twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays for 8 weeks, starting as soon as fields open and running until the end of June.
- Where: Practices and games are held at OLS (Our Lady of the Snows) or Millennium Park.
- Time:
- Practices typically run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
- Games occur during the week and on weekends, often running longer with irregular times.
- Interlocking Play: The Juniors division is interlocked with Calgary, providing players with the opportunity to compete against teams from neighboring leagues.
